Reading Enrichment Program (REP)
Through our REP program, children up their skills and learn new words, subconsciously absorbing information on how to structure sentences and how to use words and other language features effectively in their writing and speaking.
Word building/Vocabulary Enrichment Program
The vocabulary enrichment program at NLA is an educational initiative designed to enhance the language skills of our children. Through modules like word lists - spelling & pronunciation, word games, reading & writing exercises, we expand their language abilities so that the students become more articulate communicators and develop a stronger foundation for both their academic and professional success.
Student Support Program
At NLA we have a curated student support program, which ensures extra aid to students who need it. Friday evenings are reserved for this program where students are encouraged to spend more time at school and are given one-on-one/group sessions to guide them through their learning journey.
Customized Learning Plan
Our well researched curriculum includes tailor made teaching to cater to individual needs, strengths and interests. This is done by differentiated guidance, individual support and enrichment opportunities. NLA celebrates individuality and unlocks the potential in every student!
Handwriting
We believe legible & neat handwriting as an essential skill that enhances communication and boosts confidence. We therefore integrate handwriting practice from kindergarten till high school in various subjects and real-life contexts. With engaging activities and penmanship techniques each student is encouraged to strive and nurture their handwriting.
Music
Exposing children to music at different levels provides holistic approach that works towards enriching students’ lives academically, emotionally and culturally. It not only works towards cognitive development, emotional expression, cultural appreciation, but also encourages team-work & collaboration, better time management and enhances confidence & self-esteem.
Talent Show
At the Talent Show that we organise, each childin the class has the opportunity to demonstrate his/her unique skills helping to build their confidence.
Student Counselling
At our school, student counselling is a vital support that is aimed to address students’ emotional and mental health needs for overall success and happy lives. Our dedicated team of counsellors is committed to empowering students, promoting self-awareness and fostering resilience. Students then naturally thrive academically and emotionally which lays a strong foundation that will last into their future too!
Field trips
Real-world experiences, enhanced learning engagement, cultural enrichment, observational-social-teambuilding skills, appreciation of nature and lifelong memories are all take aways for our children when they go on school trips with their classmates and teachers.
STEM
Our STEM program focuses on bridging the gap between a theoretical understanding of science/maths concepts and real-world, practical application of concepts through our various Learning Solutions. Engaging in hands-on activities forms the core of the program at NLA that allow our children to plan, investigate and implement their ideas.
Value Education
We bring Value Education in classto our children that inculcates in them essential values like kindness, compassion and empathy and awakens their curiosity furtheringsocial skill development in them.
